Format

Armies will consist of 800 points or less and follow standard list-building procedures found in Star Wars: Legion official Rules Reference (https://www.fantasyflightgames.com/en/products/star-wars-legion/).

Players should submit their army composition, including all associated Battle Cards and Command Hand via Table Top TO before the start of the event. For Premiere events, this should be required a few days in advance so that the TO has adequate time to check the legality of lists.

Players Should Bring

  • Their army (to include minis and all cards used)
  • Three copies of their army composition (Two without Battle Cards or Command Hands for the player and opponent, and a third WITH Battle Cards and Command Hands for the Judge)
  • Order tokens for each unit
  • Command hand
  • Sufficient dice for attack and defense rolls
  • Movement and range tools

Legal Units (North America only)

Prime/Grand/Continental Championships and are COMPETITIVE events, so product must be released 11 days before the day of the event to be used. For all other CASUAL events, all product released before the day of the Tournament is legal for that event.

Round Recommendations

When deciding the length of your tournament, there are a few things to consider. If you have 16 players in your tournament, you have one of two options.

-Option A, you can host 3 rounds of swiss that leaves you with two undefeated players
-Option B, you can host 4 rounds of swiss that leaves you with a single undefeated player

-Option C, you can host 3 rounds of swiss and cut to the top two, allowing the other 14 players in your tournament to go home to their families

Your options are similar as you increase your tournament size. For 32 players:

-Option A, 4 rounds of swiss, two undefeated players (optional cut to top two)
-Option B, 5 rounds of swiss, one undefeated player

-Option C, 3 rounds of swiss, cut to the top four

For 64 players:

-Option A, 5 rounds of swiss, two undefeated players (optional cut to top two)
-Option B, 6 rounds of swiss, one undefeated player

-Option C, 4 rounds of swiss, cut to the top four
